Returns, Refunds, and Exchange Policy

At Piel Esmeralda, we are committed to offering high-quality products. The following terms and conditions apply to exchanges, returns, and refunds.

1. Official Communication Channel

All requests related to exchanges, returns, or refunds must be made exclusively via email: contacto@pielesmeralda.com

No follow-up will be provided through other channels such as WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, or other platforms.
This is to ensure proper recording, tracking, and resolution of each case.

2. Deadline for requesting exchanges or returns

The customer has a maximum period of: 2 calendar days from the receipt of the product to request:

  • Size exchange
  • Return due to manufacturing defect

After this period, no requests will be processed, without exception.

3. Product Condition

For any request to be valid, the product must be:

  • Unused
  • In perfect condition
  • With its original packaging
  • Show no damage from misuse

Piel Esmeralda reserves the right to reject any request that does not meet these conditions.

4. Exchanges

Permitted exchanges:

  • Only for size of the same model

Not allowed:

  • Exchanges for a model different from the one originally purchased
  • Exchanges or returns on products purchased during promotions, special discounts, liquidations, or last-chance items, which are considered final sale

Considerations:

  • The customer must cover the corresponding shipping costs
  • All exchanges are subject to inventory availability

In case of out-of-stock items, the refund policy will apply.

5. Returns and Refunds

Refunds will only apply in the following cases:

  • Product with validated manufacturing defect
  • Shipping error by Piel Esmeralda
  • Lack of inventory availability for an exchange

5.1. Refund Process

Once the request is authorized:

  1. Steps to follow will be indicated via email
  2. The product must be sent for validation (when applicable)
  3. Upon receipt and validation of the product, the refund will be processed

5.2. Refund Times

  • The review and validation process may take 5 to 10 business days from the receipt of the request and/or product (when applicable).
  • Once approved, the refund will be processed within 10 to 15 business days.
  • The time it takes for the amount to be reflected will depend exclusively on the banking institution or payment method used, therefore Piel Esmeralda has no control over these times.

In some cases, the total process may be extended due to reasons beyond the company's control.

5.3. Refund Method

The refund will preferably be made using the same payment method used for the purchase.

If it is not possible to process it via the original method, an alternative method may be agreed upon only through Piel Esmeralda's official email.

Such agreement must be expressly confirmed by both parties via email, which will serve as support and authorization for the execution of the refund.

Piel Esmeralda will not process refunds through other means without prior written confirmation from the customer.

5.4 Refund Confirmation

Once the refund is processed, the corresponding receipt will be sent to the customer's registered email address.

The refund will be considered completed once said receipt has been issued and shared.

For any subsequent clarification, the customer should contact their banking institution directly, as Piel Esmeralda has no control over third-party processing times.

6. Shipping Costs

  • For size exchanges: the customer covers the corresponding shipping costs for both the return of the product and the new shipment (round trip).
  • For returns due to defect or error: Piel Esmeralda will cover the corresponding shipping costs.

7. Important Considerations

  • All requests are subject to validation
  • Shipping the product does not guarantee approval of the exchange or refund
  • Requests outside the established period will not be accepted
  • No exceptions will be made to this policy
  • Piel Esmeralda is not responsible for delays attributable to banking institutions, payment platforms, or third parties

8. Acceptance of the Policy

By making a purchase on our website, the customer accepts the terms and conditions established in this policy.
